Ce programme reprend l’essence qui a fait connaître les Petits Chanteurs en France et dans le monde. Il est construit en deux parties : la première, composée de musiques sacrées et classiques, la seconde, de chants traditionnels et folkloriques de France et du Monde. Chaque partie est d’une durée de 40 minutes, entrecoupée d’une pause de 10 minutes, et est composée essentiellement de pièces de deux à quatre minutes. Facilement accessible pour une audience non avertie, ce programme permet de retrouver à la fois les grands classiques du répertoire tel que l’Ave Maria de Franz Schubert mais aussi de la chanson française (Sous le ciel de Paris) et étrangère (We are the World de Mickaël Jackson).

Ce programme est constitué de reprises d’un haut niveau technique qui vont des Beatles à la musique classique (Tchaïkovski, Bach) en passant par l’opéra (Rossini). Les arrangements sont souvent proches des harmonies du jazz reprenant ainsi la recette qui a fait le succès des Swingle Singers à travers le monde. Jouant sur la corde classique et populaire, ce programme permet d’accéder en ‘swinguant’ aux grandes œuvres du répertoire occidentale et ceci tout en gardant un niveau technique de très grande qualité.

Grâce à la machine à remonter le temps du professeur Sidney-Fasol, voyage dans le temps et part à la découverte des genres de musique. Accompagné de Rémi et Fala, tu feras la rencontre de Guido d’Arrezo, Mozart, Tchaïkovski, Debussy mais aussi des Beatles ou de Stromae. Au cours de leurs péripéties, tu découvriras de façon ludique et amusante l’évolution de l’harmonie en cinq siècles.

Dans l’après-midi, avant le concert, il est possible d’organiser des rencontres entre les Petits Chanteurs et des classes d’écoles primaires ou d’écoles de musiques ou des chorales d’enfants. Pendant ces 45 minutes d’échanges, le chef de chœur et les Petits Chanteurs présentent leur vie en tant qu’artiste, leur parcours scolaire en musique-étude, leur vie en internat, et répondent aux questions des enfants. Ensuite, ils proposent aux enfants un exercice d’échauffement collectif, exercice qu’ils pratiquent tous les jours avant de chanter. Puis les Petits Chanteurs interprètent 3-4 pièces devant leur jeune auditoire.
